Anyone left developing for Hexy?

I have just got my Hexy working using PoMoCo via USB and Bluetooth  The BT took ages to get to work because although BT would pair and serial terminals showed responses to V C or K from both PC and Android, hexy refused to budge (unless connected to USB) :frowning:

The USB was disconnected, I was connecting logic power first, with the BT board plugged in, waiting for the Servotor red light to go out, plugging in the servos batteries and then running either PoMoCo or AnMoCo, the BT red light would go on steady and I would try controlling Hexy - but no movement :imp:

I still don’t really know what did the trick  lots of Python playing with the PoMoCo code seemed to clear the blockage I had with PC BT, and then as if by magic the Android app (AnMoCo) worked too.

Now the electronics works I can build him (I guess the ultrasonic “eyes” will be the next thing to get working though - more fun and games).

The one thing I would like is the planned V1.2 of AnCoMo (the last developer’s entries/posts were Dec 13, I guess the update has been dropped :frowning: ) which is a pity because I only have Driod 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) and the app won’t install (I have to use the wife’s phone which has Ice Cream Sandwich - less than ideal).

Does anyone know how to fix the backwards compatible issue with the Android app?

Not sure about AnCoMo, we didn’t develop it, it was just someone one the forums who though it out there.
