Hi, It appears that my battery compartment has a manufacturing error in that there are two metal contacts missing. While I am waiting for the new battery compartment to arrive (support contacted) I was wondering if the remote is fully functional while the unit is powered up by the USB? The Sparki is receiving the commands based on the LCD screen but it is not executing them. Perhaps the functionality has been removed due to the limitations caused by the attached USB cable? Thanks. Some of the functions will work but not the steppers for sure. The LED should work. I can not remember the other things the remote controls with the originally loaded program. it is not on line yet.
Only the wheels, gripper, head and IR send should be affected. Everything else should work fine.
