Foot modification(?)

Not a huge fan of the rubber covers for the feet. So I tried using liquid tape on the extra foot. Two coatings.

I kinda of like it but might go get the plastic dip (sailrite.com/Plasti-Dip-Blac … QgodKUkAIA ) and compare.

Suffice to to say, which ever one looks and preforms the best I think I will coat the other feet.
Figured I would share and see if anyone else did anything similar already?

: I cut the paper coating off the bottom tip of the part and left the rest on as a dip mask…

We did use plastidip for the first few prototypes. The problem was, that didn’t scale well when shipping 10,000 legs, and plastidip doesn’t come in tiny bottles anywhere near the cost we needed it to (we tried hard to find a source for that). It also would have lead to inconsistent application. Imagine having 1,000 different people applying it 1,000 different ways. Those rubber covers took forever to source, but we felt it was a lot better than running the feet bare (like many other acrylic kits do).

Agree for the volume you are dealing with and did not mean to slight you. Just one of the ways I can tweak the Hexy to fit my style.
