help needed: performance issues

I assembled my robot, upgraded Servotor firmware to 2.0, and tested its operations with PoMoCo.
I notice its performance is rather poor:

(1) The robot can not “get up”. I have to lift the robot to help it get up from the zero position.
Yes, all 6 feet touch the ground, but it struggles to lift up its main body. which has only 1 battery pack (I use USB cable).
I guess either the original servo motor is too weak or my 4xAA (Sanyo Eneloop 1900mAh) battery pack is too weak.
Does anyone have a good solution?

(2) The robot does not reset very well. For example, I have to press the PoMoCo reset bottom several times to get all servos to the proper position. Sometimes a leg would freeze in a position randomly and not moving for a while. Do I have some bad servos ?

Please advise. Thank you.

I’ve had the same issues.

I found switching batteries (4xAA Alkaline) to 5x AA rechargeable helped a bit, but I still have trouble getting up.

I will keep playing around to see if I can sort it out. I’ve read that 4xAA rechargeable might be better

4xAA Rechargeables (1.2v each) works perfectly for me, giving 5.13V total
