Hexy meets Electric Imp

Hexy Questions, Problems and Suggestions

I have an Electric Imp here and I am planing to connect it to Hexy in order to have it controlled via web. Three questions:

  1. did anyone allready tried this?
  2. is the serial protocoll on the tx rx ports the same es over USB? --> I found out inspecting the source - yes, it seems like
  3. I need a 3.3 V source to power ElectricImp, does Servotor provide such?

I got it done :smiley:

I just bought a voltage control semiconductor for a few pence.

So far it is now possible to copy / paste movement-code into a html form and Hexy moves. Next step will be to program a web page with buttons for the basic moves as well as for setting the servo offsets.

Update: Electricimp is powerful enough to calculate moves. I created serveral classes inspired by pocomo. Trying new moves is tough for little hexy… He got a broken knee :confused: I hope those hobby king metal gear servos arrive soon.
