My son got this for his birthday this weekend. He spent the entire weekend putting it together and it looks great. I helped him and I thought he had put it together right. Until… Today my son plugged it in to work on offsets and motor centering but hexy didn’t follow its commands well. It did them about halfway then Kinda jittered. After about 10 minutes of messing with it the power pack started smoking(we are using 1.2 volt rechargeable batts x 4). I unplugged it quickly and noticed the side of the battary pack melted and the plug going to the board is soft and mushy now.
Can someone help me figure out what wrong and get it right?
