The small screws (ones in screw pack, not packaged w/servos) do not hold the servo arms in the top plate.
Or rather 4 of 6 servo arms fall out of the holes, while 2 seem to work.
Not sure what would cause the variance in laser hole cutting. focus?
Kerf and registration should be dead on unless there is slippage, and that would show up in lots of other places too
(I have an Epilog Helix of my own.)
Any suggestions on how to get em to stick better?
I was thinking of filling the holes a bit with acrylic glue, letting it dry and then screwing in.
Meanwhile other holes (like in leg parts) are too tight and the acrylic cracks.
Are the acrylic cut plans available on line anywhere yet?
I may not have the right color to match, but at least I can get the bot built
I was hoping to show it off at our TEDxMaui booth this sunday, but now am not sure it will be complete in time.
