I find the hip pieces are a bit too tight … slipping the one with the curved point (it would be good to just number these in the diagram) I’ve cracked two of them – (oops there goes the spare, and this is my first leg) … slightly larger holes would be useful IMHO, but also knowing what glue will work with this plastic would be useful. 
Any insight?
I’m no experts on glues, but the plastic is Acrylic, so if your glue says it works with that, you should be fine.
Regular super-glue (Cyanoacrylate) should bond acrylic together just fine.

Superglue worked fine … had to file down a modest number of parts to get things to fit
but now “fully assembled”
